MarketPro, the leading creative staffing firm,  is currently seeking a talented Senior Visual Designer in Philadelphia, PA. The visual designer will be responsible leading the design of the company’s new website. This is a ground-up re-design and will integrate the latest in social /community and design functionality. The designer will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve great balance within short deadlines.

Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective designs to achieve business goals
-Work with User Experience Designer to integrate visual and interaction design
-Create and maintain visual assets including iconography, color palettes, font styles, and other graphical elements
-Maintain visual standards and style guide documentation
-Exercise your Jedi-skills in leading design software: Illustrator, Flash, and Photoshop

Qualifications:

-Superb information design abilities, fastidious and efficient production and optimization habits, and impeccable problem solving skills
-A keen understanding of user behavior as it relates to design
-Solid understanding of practical benefits and limitations of internet technologies
-Intimate knowledge of HTML, understanding how comps translate to code
-Appreciation for using analytics and user research data to help inform and guide design decisions
-Wildly creative and obsessively meticulous
-Portfolio of work that indicates a strong understanding of current interactive design trends
-Experience working on high-traffic, deep-content sites that are CMS driven
-Passion for innovation and a good attitude
-Self-starter : jump in quickly without a lot of direction, open minded and able to articulate the importance of great design
-All qualified candidates must have an online portfolio or samples to be submitted for consideration
