MarketPro is engaged in a search for a Shopper Marketing  Account Executive in Cincinnati for an agency whose  clients are national Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods manufacturers and retailers.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid range of experience in the following disciplines:

*Advertising agency client management or consumer packaged goods / brand management (5+ years)

*Shopper and Customer/Trade marketing experience within the grocery and/or other retailers (2+ years)

FUNCTIONAL BACKGROUND

• *Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• *Proven ability to lead client and utilize knowledge to meet client objectives
• *Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• *Proven ability to self motivate
• *Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously

 

Core job requirements

*Develops in-depth understanding of clients’ and retailers’ business

*Develops productive and respectful relationships with both client and retailers’ personnel

*Gathers, prepares and communicates to other agency functions all information necessary to successfully complete client assignments

*Manages the execution of program materials with remote-based account service support assistance

*Establishes budgets and manages workflow to adhere to budgets and timelines

*Works with agency team to develop and present strategic plans to client

*Reviews all agency work prior to submitting to client for review

*Secures all necessary client approvals

*Uses client/business knowledge and relationships to uncover opportunities for the agency and grow business

*Ensures that agency work supports the brand and meets objectives and strategies

*Analyzes all programs (with/without the client)

EDUCATION:

• *Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience
