Job Description:

As Senior Content Strategist, you function as a key member of the Creative team by assessing, cataloging, organizing and maintaining web site content to achieve both brand and business goals. In collaboration with creative team, Director of Content Strategy, and Information Architect, Senior Content Strategists support client marketing objectives and user requirements.

Ideally, this person will have core CS work — audits and inventories, matrices, production planning, and SEO/social media experience.

Must be able to show  examples of work :For a taxonomy CS- metadata architecture, example taxonomy CS, plus editorial style guides, process flows, more strategy docs, measurement plans

Primary Responsibilities:

*Establishing and maintaining an inventory of site content, providing a view of what has been obtained and what remains to be acquired, migrated, revised, or created, and tracking content status throughout a project’s “Build” phase

*Identifying opportunities for repurposing, restructuring or revising existing content, and I         identify resources for additional content needed (copywriters, syndication, etc.)

-*Auditing sites, banners, and interstitials

*Performing competitive site reviews to benchmark content breadth, organization and presentation

*Ensuring consistent application of editorial policies and accuracy of content (e.g., proofreading, fact-checking)

*Overseeing content migration and creating associated documentation

*Evaluating CMS packages and contribute to selection criteria

Experience Guidelines:

*3-5 years’ experience in online content strategy, preferably in an agency setting

(this is NOT a Copywriter role)

*Frequent travel may be required

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required

Degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or similar
